When I first wandered through a flea market in Japan, I was struck by the quiet beauty of objects that carried time within them - a cup with a faint crack, a piece of glass catching the light just so. They weren’t perfect, but they were unique. 

That memory stayed with me, and it’s what inspired Uchhi Market Finds, where I see as a way to bring those one-of-a-kind discoveries back to you.

Through Kyoto’s markets and Osaka’s hushed backstreets, I’ll be seeking pieces that hold quiet stories; perhaps a hand-thrown matcha bowl for your daily ritual, or a ceramic plate to cradle your morning toast. Each blind box is its own small mystery, chosen with care, wrapped with intention, and sent to arrive like a gentle hug on an ordinary day 🧺

Is shipping included? 
Yes, all prices include standard Singapore postage.

Are the pieces guaranteed to match my preferences?
Not exactly. The beauty of Market Finds is the surprise. But you can leave a note at checkout to share preferences (optional):

• Texture/Material: Ceramic, glass, wood, metal, or mixed.

• Wishlist/Use: Matcha bowls, coffee mugs, small plates, cereal bowls, whisky glass, anything! 

• Color Palette: Earth tones, soft pinks, neutrals, blues, or surprise me.
  

While we will try our best to consider your preferences, every box remains a surprise 🤎

What’s the difference between the Everyday and Premium sets?

• Everyday Set: Gentle treasures for daily use. Simple, unique pieces that bring quiet joy and a little beauty to your everyday moments.

• Premium Set: Rarer finds, chosen for their detail, craft, and character. Each piece carries a story, curated for those who seek something extra special.

Both sets are wrapped with care, sent with love, and retain the quiet mystery that makes Uchhi Market Finds so unique.

Will the items be brand new?
Most are new handmade or small-batch artisan pieces. Some may be vintage or show minor imperfections like tiny glaze variations or faint marks, where I see it as part of their charm and story.

Will you restock Uchhi Market Finds?
Each Market Find event is unique to the trip and the pieces we discover. While we may do similar events in the future, no two collections will ever be the same.

Can I gift a Market Find blind box?
Absolutely! Just leave a note at checkout with your gift message, and we'll include it with a hand-written card. 

Can I exchange or return my blind box?
Because these are unique, limited finds where each hand-carried from Japan, all sales are final. We are unable to offer returns or exchanges unless an item arrives damaged. 

When will my order ship?
Orders will begin shipping mid–late October, after I return from Japan and take time to carefully pack and collate each set. You’ll receive a shipping notification via email as soon as your box is on its way.

What if something arrives damaged?
Please email us at hellouchhi@gmail.com within 3 days of delivery with photos of the damage. We'll do our best to resolve it with a replacement or refund where possible.
